ATT phone bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

for some reason my ATT phone bill came to 300 dollars this month! last month in March i bought a new Iphone 3GS, so could that be the reason?? our phone bill basically came 100 dollars more when i was told the data plan is only 30 dollars! is this only for the first month??? or will i pay this much forever?!

1. Well, the best thing for *you* to do (since no one here can do it for you) is to look at the itemized bill and what you were charged for that you weren't in the past. I can go onto my account at T-Mobile's website and look at my bill in excruciating detail (I don't get a paper bill anymore). I'm pretty certain you can do the same thing with AT&T.
2. I am not sure why. If you added a line with the Iphone its going to be: $100 + $10 (extra line) =$110 $100 + $30 (internet) = $130 $130 + $35 (activation fee) =$170 $170 + $18 (taxes) =$188 If anyone downloaded anything it will charge, if you bought any apps it will charge, if someone used internet and didnt have internet it will charge, if you dont have unlimited texting and someone when over it will charge. There are dozens of reasons why it can charge, just take a look at each extra charge that was made. Dont know if the IPhone is required to be on its own line
