can i bring my go phone number to virgin mobile how do i do that

1. i'm not sure how and it might cost extra but on virginmobileusa.com it says you can
2. If the phone you are switching to is unlocked then you can. If not, I think it's around $50 to get it unlocked so that the phone will accept any previous number. Otherwise I would contact virginmobile.
