LG Rumor Touch: Can you use the phone while it's recharging?

I know some phones warn against using the phone while it's in recharging mode but it appears that is not the case for the Rumor Touch. I would want to leave it plugged into the car charger so that I can use the GPS navigation without running down the battery. Anybody got first hand experience with it?

1. I have that phone and I use it a lot while its charging, nothings ever happened to me.
