- GPS on this phone is Assisted GPS (A-GPS) capable. As far as i know,to use A-GPS on cellphone COST you money.Assisted GPS is supported by network provider's DATA for its GPS to make faster pinpoint a position .(refer to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-GPS ) However, this A-GPS can be DeActivated to avoid data charged from network provider. The default A-GPS status is Active .Read the manual book to know how to deactivate A-GPS on your phone. The Navigator is probably NOT actualy free, but you get a free trial for xxx periode time which i dont know.
- I am glad you asked this question, I have an LG CF360 myself. UM the GPS is in fact not free unless you have a data plan for 30 dollars a month, but it should have come with a 30 day free trial. The only thing that you must look out for is the expiration date on the free trial card, because if it is already expired, you will not know until you get your phone bill. Those cheapos gave me an expired GPS 30 day free trial that had expired a year ago since the date I got my phone. WHAT GREAT SERVICE I TELL YOU!!!!!!! yeah right.
