What do you think about the alltel verizon merger? If you have alltel are you having any problems?

I have service with alltel i loved my phone and my service but since the merger i dnt get calls texts or voicemails until days later my wireless net is slow i was told by a verizion rep tht alltel phones will not work w their network i was due for an upgrade on my alltel phone during the time verizon was taking over I cant get a fone that i, gonna like because they are out of stock or something i have to renew my contract when i do but now i have to sign w verizon i looked at their plans and its a lot more than what i am paying now for a family plan and their unlimited texting is soley to people in the verizon network nor does it include unlimited net access and u have to pay for ringtones and then you have to pay 1.99 for ever mb it takes up i have friends in the same state 30 miles from me and their alltel store was bought by ATT and they are no longer mobile 2 mobile and they are charged to send me a text bc they are not in my network bc of this merger I wish alltel never would have sold because i dont like verizons plans phones or anything and i am yet to hear anything good about verizon from people that has had it before switching to alltel any opinion is welcome
