LG Wireless Phone

Can someone help me with my cell phone? I have the Alias by verizon?

ok so i have the alias from verizon wireless. i had one in april and then a few months later it started to get really hot when i wasnt using it. it would get hot by the battery spot. and when i did use it ,it would still be really hot. so i got the same type of phone but verizon sent me a new one. its happening again and my phones getting pretty warm. does anyone know what might be wrong with my phone? what should i do? thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =) by the way. my brother has the same phone and its never happened to him. Angel K- no i dont think i did send it away. i think i kept it . but i just went to florida over spring break and my brother texts all the time. he was running low on battery and mine was fully charged so i told him he could use mine so we switched. i think we switched back though. and when he was using it he never complained about it getting hot. but it gets hot for me. i just thought i would let you know. and thank you so much for your advice! 1. I am wondering if it is not the phone itself, but the battery that is causing the problem. Most likely you did not send the battery away with the other phone, right? Put your brothers battery in your phone. See if it gets warm/hot. If it doesn't, you know it is the battery. Therefore you will need a new battery. You can get one at your local Verizon store.
2. maybe its the place that you charge it or where you keep it? try keeping it in a different, cooler place and see what happens. if this doesnt work, call up verizon again and get a totally differnet phone. hope this helps!
