feature packages on go phones?

i bought my younger brother a Go Phone from att for Christmas. i also bought him a 20 dollar feature card for 3000 free messages/night and weekend minutes. I did the steps to set it up but when he texts, he still get .15 taken off. it should be free...and on the website under account details, it says there are no active feature packages on his account. does anyone know whats going on?

1. Then the feature package you added didnt work. Best thing to do would be call 611 and make sure it gets added. Their online account management is not the best out there. - Answerman
