if i reset my phone but save my contacts to sim will they be erased as well? i have att?

i have a go phone and it isnt getting signal for some reason no matter were i am. i still have money in my account too. so i was wondering if i do a factory reset but save my contacts to the sim card will they still be erased?

1. If you do a factory reset it will not delete anything on the phone just set it how it came out of the box. If you do a master clear it WILL delete all except your contacts saved to sim. If your not getting signal and you have money on your account I would try powering your phone off about 30 seconds and then back on again. Try to make a call if it doesnt work call ATT at 1-800-331-0500 BEFORE doing the master reset, Im not sure its your phone. It wouldnt hurt to call them to have them troubleshoot for you.
2. No content on the phone or the SIM will be erased. Basically what happens is the reset restores the phone to factory default settings.
