How do i set up the voice mail in AT&T LG Cell phone?

I am using LG AT&T cell phone. I tried to set up the Voice mail but could not set up it. What is the process to set up the voice mail. Please teach me. Thank you

1. press and hold the one key until the call to voice mail starts. once it starts, put the phone to your ear and follow the instructions
