How do i get my Verizon lg cell phone off the ear jack setting?

okay i have a Verizon lg VX5500 cell phone and it keeps getting set to the ear jack setting and i can make calls but i cant hear the call because it is set to the ear jack thing and i don't know how to get it off. and it starts to work if plug in the ear thing but i don't always have access to it. what do i do tho fix this

1. Sounds like it is a software issue or a hardware issue (would need to ask more detailed questions to narrow it down) I would recommend taking it to your nearest verizon wireless store so they can reset the phone or do a software update on it. If this doesnt fix it then they may have to replace it (Free replacement if you are still within the 1yr warranty)
