How to take out the Lg Vu sim card? HELP?

My dad just got an Lg Vu on his account (we have at&t), we had to get it on his account, but we bought it for me. Since my dad hasn't gotten a new phone since cingular they had to send an att sim card in with it. It got here and i'm trying to get the sim card out but it won't come out. Did they like glue it in there so you can't do that? Ive googled and haven't seen anything about this...

1. use something rubber to help grip it i know it feels like its glued in but if you get goot grip (like put a rubber band in between youur finger and the sim card) it will slide out DONT use pliers, i tried that and snapped a card.
2. I used tweezers, but it takes a while.
