What area of communication the cell phones form?

Can somebody help me? I am doing an essay about cell phones and I don't have a clue where to find them. Its okay if you give me the website only. What area of communication the cell phones form? How cell phones came about or originated? How cell phones developed into what, we know today? How it has affected people's everyday lives?
