can i buy a sprint phone on an att contract?

my frien has this really cool phone called the samsung reclaim from sprint. im on a att contract and im asking my parents for a new phone for christmas. i don't like any att phones. is it possible to buy the reclaim an use it for att?

2. What you need to buy is a GSM phone which is unlocked and that will work on ATT, and not breach your contract either. Merry Xmas.
