Is there anything you have to pay in-store when you get a new cell phone?

I have an iPhone wating on direct fulfillment. I've already paid for it. When it comes in I assume I will work out a plan in the store. My question is: besides the cost of the phone, is there anything you have to pay for in store, or is everything just put onto my first bill? Carrier is ATT by the way.

1. Your choice most often. They sometimes ask, do you want to pay for extras now or do you want to be billed for them. For instance an activation fee may be waved by the carrier, billed to your first bill or paid up front. Enjoy your new phone.
