Can you make any AT&T cell phone a GoPhone?

Alright well this is what I am planning on doing... I am going to buy a cheap GoPhone and activate it with the $39.99 'pick your plan' deal. Then buy a new unlocked phone (LG Xenon) that is compatitable with AT&T and put the sim card into that phone. So my question is, will I have the GoPhone plan on the LG Xenon? The 'pick your plan' will have both data and messaging features, so will I be able to call, browse the internet, instant message, and text with my LG Xenon? I was told yes, but I just want to make sure so I am not wasting money on something that won't even work. And also, will the LG Xenon's 3G compatability still work with the GoPhone plan?

2. i dont think so. you can buy the gogo phone, and the lg xenon with a different number. ohh i get your question now. i THINK you will be able to do that. but buy the xenon with like your moms number, and get the xenon and just put the little card on it. why dont you get the samsung impression instead? its better i think. omg please help me if you have AT&t. 3. YES it works... Period... SMS will work Talking will work These 2 for sure Im not sure about data, since i'm from canada and the data policies here are fked up.
