How old do you have to be to get a phone/plan with att?

Title says it all.

over 18 to have your own plan but if you're under your parents need to get it for you.
18 and have some kind of credit or you will be paying a huge deposit and also with no credit u might need a co signer.
18 years of age its that way with any carrier or ISP etc.. the reason being is simple they want to be hold the customer/user legally for any charges along with being able to update the credit.
You have to be 18 to sign a contract. You have to be employed and be able to pass a credit check or pay a security deposit to get a contract.
