Can I change a Tmobile phone to an ATT plan?

I have this Samsung phone that was found and no one's collected it and my current Samsung...has had a rough life. Problem is, I have ATT and the phone that was found is for T-mobile. So, would it be a major problem to have it changed?

1. If you get the phone unlocked, then you should be able to use it on att. Find a local cell phone store and get it unlocked. It should cost you about $20. If you can't find a store to unlock it, email me and I can try to help you out.
