LG Wireless Phone

Should I re-enroll w. my CELLULAR phone or change to a wireless system?

Hi all, I am trying to decide whether I should re-enroll my Celluar telephone service or change to a wireless phone co. in addition to my home telephone line. My Cellular phone contract will expire in March so I am looking at any other option I have available. I plan to keep my home landline service as my ISP is a dial-up server. I reason that since my dial-up ISP costs only $10, I should keep it for this price. I am still under my Cellular contract with a monthly $30.00 fee. - I have kept this "cheaper" cellular service with my "older than dirt" cell phone. LUCKILY, this phone has had no "serious" repair needs.......... until recently. My battery is wearing out and I may need to replace it at a higher cost for each battery I buy. I am offered to "upgrade" to a $50 service w. my cell phone carrier. I am considering to change to WIRELESS phone server (maybe VERIZON?) Help me decide which is my best option and help me consider any oversight I am not considering. Thanks.

  1. So here goes... I'm not sure about the other wireless companies' plans, but I know that with Sprint, you can get a plan for your wireless phone at as low as $29.99 with 200 minutes and nights and weekends starting at 7pm or $39.99 for a plan with 450 minutes with nights/weekends at 7pm PLUS Unlimited Sprint to Sprint or Sprint to Nextel calling. For home service, you can pay $15 extra a month for unlimited home service including some long distance. $59.99 on top of that, and you have high speed braodband capable internet on your laptop NATIONWIDE UNLIMITED....... like I said, no idea what the others carry, but I know this is a good deal...
