I can't open my cell phone cover!?

I can't seem to find out how to open the back cover of my LG cell phone to find out the model number. is anyone else having this problem? it looks similar to an LG 260 Is there some sort of trick to it?

1. I believe you need to slide it off w/ lotsa power, or you need to press 1-2 buttons, OR you need to hold a button/release lock down and yank it off. I dont remember your phone type exactly, but those are the only 3 ways a cell phone cover can be opened
