Is Sprint wireless run by a band of monkeys?

I just spent one hour and twenty minutes on the phone with Sprint trying to find out why they charged for PCS Vision when they said it was free for 30 days....4 people and 1:20 later I FINALLY found someone that understood what went wrong, evidently it was supposed to be put on the bill and then a credit added. Why is it so hard for people at Sprint to understand the concept that free means no charge? My contract expires in Nov of 2008 and since I have had nothing but trouble from the company I will say goodbye to them and never look back. Has anyone else out there had such experiences with Sprint?
