How do incoming calls affect my phone bill?

I have ATT local service. Do I pay for incoming long distance calls? I also have Verizon cellular. Do incoming calls count against my minutes? Thanks :)

  1. For Verizon - yes, unless you have that new plan with home service and pay $59.99 to get free unlimited incoming calls for a year. I don't know anything about ATT.
  2. You don't pay the long distance - the person calling you pays for that. For your landline local service, there is no charge to you for the talk time. You are still charged out of your airtime minutes bucket for the time you spend talking on your cell phone.
