LG Wireless Phone

SPRINT wireless customers.. what would you do if they were sharing your private information with others?

I have a Sprint cell phone. On my account there are two numbers mine and my husbands.. At one time my husband had his cell phone tied to a friends line under their family share plan. In Aug 07 Sprint had a computer issue and my husbands number was showing up on his friends account information on their website. and my husband was receiving phone calls from Sprint about his friends phone. These two phones have not been on the same account for over 2 yrs. I spent over 10 hours on the phone with Sprint trying to get this fixed. It took over a month and our phone information was given to this other person as well as his information to my husband. This is a violation of the privacy act and Sprint has not even apologized for this. What would you do? I was considering contacting an attorney to see if we have any rights because of the information be shared was private. I also found out that it was not just my account that was affected that many others were. Sprint customers be warned. Plz share

  1. I joined Sprint in 1987 when I saw their pin drop commercial. Their long-distance service was outstanding. So when it came time to get a cell phone, I went with them. Nothing but problems. For years. I understand your pain and agree you should contact an attorney if you want to pursue this. They are a problem-riddled company and I'll never go back to them. Good luck.
