Can You Use a Sprint CDMA cell phone for Verizon wireless network?

I wanted to get a Palm Treo 800w and i'm willing to buy the sprint version, but I was wondering if it will work for Verizon network.. Verizon and Sprint are two networks that use CDMA phones so maybe it works???
