Can Verizon Wireless phones be used with Sprint if unlocked by the company or by sim cards?

- No, they can't. Verizon has walls of protection for other carrier phones and they do not run on a network that uses sims.
- No it will not work verizon phones have to work with verizon phones Same thing with sprint and At#T etc
- It's theoretically possible but there would have to be a lot of modifications to the phone. Namely the SW would have to be reverted to the generic and the Verizon PRL would have to be reflashed with a Sprint compatible code, OTA programming would have to be disabled and an appropriate sublock/MSL would have to be hard programmed. And even if all this was done, the phone would still give off errors due to carrier specific variances. Plus, there is a good chance that Sprint would balk at activating a phone with an ESN or MEID not recognized by its network. This makes for a nice project but it would be more convenient to buy a Sprint phone.
