1. yes patience ... Christams and they bombard you and all consumers with the cheap stuff to get you to buy. hold on and read the Sunday papers, coupons always and web pages on your favorite carrier. Target has a deal now wiht one carrier. See it on highway billboards. Says flat rate of $40 a month. whom ever I have a phone but pay attention to life and its details. try it and good luck.
2. You can buy any phone, and use it for prepaid on Verizon I bought an enV2 last year and I have it for prepaid
