telephones: Is the direct tv telephone better than my att phone service?

I was told that I could save $5.00 with the direct tv phone, but is it more reliable? Should I sign up?

1. DirecTv does not have a land line service. Perhaps you are talking about AT&Ts bundeling service where they charge you for AT&T and directv on the same bill. They give some kind of discount but I dont think its worth it.
