Can I get a free att phone upgrade?

About a year ago I transferred my att go phone to a contract account. I know after 2 years on our contract, we are subject to a free phone upgrade. I've had the phone for 2 years but have only been on the monthly contract for one. Can I still get a free upgrade? I have the proof of purchase and order confirmation and everything from the prepaid account. Thanks ;)

1. I actually just did an upgrade today (got the Samsung Eternity and am extemly satified with it). Alls you need to do is go to your nearest at&t store and talk to a sales associate, their updates are not like verizon's... they consider an upgrade as a new phone with a 2 year contract, if you do that you will get $200 removed from the phones cost. there also mayt be other discounts on the phone. hope this helped, Rob
