LG Wireless Phone

iPhone 2.0 or LG Voyager?

My birthday is coming up and my mom told me that I could get any phone I want, so I narrowed all of my choices down to these two phones. The only problem I'm faced with is choosing between the phones and their carriers. Who should I go with? AT&T's new iPhone 2.0 or Verizon's LG Voyager? I live in a pretty large city with about 200,000 citizens, and I'm currently with T-Mobile (and can't even get conection in my own house). -Thanks in advance =D

  1. i like the voyager better because you can text and its a touch screen.
  2. Att is much better than t-mobile get an iphone its cool phone
  3. iPhone is on the top, of that phone, LG Voyager is just a not good looking iPhone clone... thats it. I'll recommend you get the iPhone july 11 price!! 199$ very affordable... Actually you cant compare the LG an the iphone, by simply looking at it, you can tell the differences... I personally dont own an iPhone but i do have an iPod Touch that has the same features and will have more with the new SDK .... the LG cant install apps like the iPhone or iPod Touch so thats an advantage.... with apps in your phone yuou can do much more like play high end games and more http://www.apple.com/iphone/features/appstore.html
  4. I would check the coverage maps and see which one has better service near your house. My personal preference is the iPhone because of its refined interface and responsive touch screen.
  5. I'm a Verizon customer, and I have the LG enV (the Voyager without the touchscreen on the front) and my boyfriend owns an iPhone. My personal opinion would be to absolutely go with the Voyager... much much better camera, with autofocus, which is important to me in a cell phone; a physical keyboard is much more useful than an on-screen touch one. Voyager is very nice in that respect that you can either choose to use the touch screen, or open it up and use the real buttons on the inside. And if you seriously want it for the music aspect, the Voyager can easily play music.. it's just not as fancy and trendy as the iPhone. I certainly wouldn't buy the iPhone just for the music/video aspect. Get an iPod shuffle, touch, etc if that's what you like about it. I own the Touch and it's very very nice. Hope that helps. :)
