I purchased the LG env3 yesterday, late afternoon. My old phone was from dinosaur days. Okay, so not REALLY, but when I purchased it 3 years ago it was already pretty out of style. Its so old that the verizon stores, radio shack, walmart...nobody carried the chargers and my cat chewed mine up (so I was left with only my car charger). I had an upgrade for a long time that I hadnt used, so I figured rather than finding the charger online - I'd go and just do my upgrade. I'm probably the only 22 year old not excited about getting a new cell phone! The thing is that I NEVER had a problem with my old LG phone. I got service everywhere...I couldnt go online and it had no fancy keypad but I was able to make calls and texts, all I thought I wanted to do on my phone. My fiance has the iphone and is always bragging about going on the internet. I thought it was pretty dumb - until yesterday when I accessed facebook from my cell phone for the first time. I fell in love!! Then my e-mail!! ... as I finished up typing a paragraph back (just getting used to typing on the full key-board with my thumbs)... THE PHONE RANDOMLY TURNED OFF!?!??? It had 2 bars of battery left. There was no "Low Battery Warning" or any other message that popped up before or after it randomly restarted (Its like it turned on, without being turned off first??). I thought that maybe it being a new phone I pushed something and didnt realize it, but it did this about 3 more times. I'm really upset and dont know if this is something that happens with all of the evn3's? Its really early in the morning so I cant call the store yet - but when they open I'm certianly going to call them and let them know I'm comming in for a new phone.. But is my new env3 going to do the same thing???

I can understand bragging about the iPhone. It's to die for! I love mine. I had the enV and it randomly turned off quite a bit. I suggest switching from verizon all together. Don't get a new phone from them.
