Can i use an unlocked iphone with Verizon wireless?

I switched from att to verizon wireless. I got the lg env touch, but i want to sell it and get an I phone. If i get a unlocked iphone. will i be able to use it with verizon wireless? If so, how? I still have my old att sim card.

1. From what I know no. because i used to have one, but just call up your server such as orange t mobile and they shall tell you :)
2. It will not work.iPhone will only work on a GSM network.Verizon runs on CDMA network. It is incompatible.
