LG Wireless Phone

My wifi and phone are on the same frequency?

Whenever someeone talks on the phone, the wifi in my house goes out. I am certain this is the problem. What can I do to change the frequency of either of them to stop this from happening. I have a Radioshack 2.4 GHz Radio shack phone and my wireless router is a Belkin N version .3 model F5D8236. Can you help me fix this problem?

  1. The simple fix is to upgrade your cordless phone to a 5.8ghz spectrum. Or you have to place the phone's base away from the wifi router. Getting a 5.8ghz was the best solution for me, it's only $20 to get a new phone. Also try to bump up the channel of the wifi router to channel # 11.
  2. Upgrade either your wireless router or wireless phone to 5.8Ghz.
