How do i change the text ringtone for blackberry pearl with verizon wireless?

Hey, I've had my pearl for a while but I can't seem to figure out how to change the sound it makes when I receive a text message. I looked in the media section and there is an option to make it the ringtone but nowhere that allows me to change the text alert tone. My service provider is Verizon Wireless, any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

2. Here's how to change the sound for text messages on a pearl. From the main screen, click on the "profiles" icon. Scroll down to "advanced" (which doesn't appear on the screen at first. You have to scroll down and it will appear. Highlight the profile you want to edit (most likely the "Normal" profile). Press the blackberry menu button (the one with all the dots on it). Choose "edit" from the menu. Click on SMS. Change the ringtone from that screen. Good luck!
