if i dont pay my phone bill with att for one month will they use my deposit to cover it?

- no. if you don't pay your phone bill they will disconnect the line. they will usually give you a certain amount of time in order to call and reactivate the line. if you do not reactivate the line within that time period they will cancel your plan, charging an early termination fee if you are still in contract and then use the deposit to pay the final bill. once it enters this stage your phone number is released and you would not be able to get this same number back. you would also have to pay a higher deposit in order to reactivate service with at&t. if you need more time to pay your bill you can call customer service and they will work with you to set up a payment arrangement. they are usually very flexible.
