can i still get wifi on my tilt without buying internet for my phone?

ok so i have an att tilt and i was wondering if i could still use the wifi on my phone without buying internet on my phone which cost $100 extra on my phone bill.

1. Yes. as long as you are in an area that supports Wi-fi you will not be charged by ATT for using it. Basically, you can goto an area with free wifi (Starbucks for example) and browse the web on your phone with no repercussions for it. Just make sure your using wifi and not 3g or edge and you wont have to worry about the bills.
