Can you get free internet with a cell phone in a wifi zone?

For example, chevron. can i get free internet on my cell phone if chevron has wifi. if so, how?

1. Only if your cell phone has WiFi capability built in; if your phone has this, you would likely already know it. If the phone (typically *some* smartphones) has WiFi capability, it will basically act like a WiFi-enabled laptop in terms of logging on/verifying onto the wireless network.
