i have MTNL wifi and am willing to make its services available for my phone. what should i do ?

my phone has wifi in it and i just want to avail the services that i hav paid for. i specially purchased a wifi modem(router) to do the same. plz help and enlighten me in that context. how should i be able to surf the net on my phone ? how should i do the settings needed ? what all is required for that ?
