LG Wireless Phone

is there anyway to buy an LG strawberry chocolate phone and activate it under US cellular?

if so.. tell me how/where to get that phone and activate it under US Cellular

1. well its a phone verizon uses only so im pretty shure no you can only use it if you make a plan with verizon
2. In the US, certain phones only work with certain companies... That's why some companies have red Razrs and some have Maroon Razrs, you can only use the one color for the one company. Now, from what I'm told, in Europe it's different. You can use any phone for any company. I guess in the US phones are "locked" to a company and in Europe they're "unlocked." SO, try and find a way to get some European stuff going on here in the US. Otherwise, no clue.
3. If US Cellular doesn't offer the LG Strawberry Chocolate phone, you would need to buy and unlocked phone and then just put your SIM card from your current phone into the LG phone. Doing this, it's possible some of the service extras may not work right or you might have to do some extra configuration, but an unlocked phone should work for the basic service right out of the box. You could also check with the US Cellular store and see if they have any specific recommendations. I use Cingular and I purchased an unlocked Motorolla Pebl about 6 months ago and it worked just fine right out of the box.
4. you have stolen or found fone and want to know if its compatible with another service...hmnnn. if it is sim compatible, i know how to reset it to an unlocked and open state. youll need software to crack the lock though. thats not easy to come around in the us.

UnFoRtUnEtLy, ThEy PrObAbLy WoNt Let YoU uNlEsS tHeY oFfEr ThAt PhOnE. i KnOw It SuX! :( But actually... i almost bought that phone awhile ago because i have verizon... and the girl working there told me not to get it because like 90% of the chocolate phones they sell end up getting returned.. she said the screen (the numbers arent buttons its flat... like a touch screen type thingy) is WAY too sensitive and people are always complainging about it pushing buttons and calling people when they dont even barely touch it.. like if the phone is in their pockets or something.. idk.. she told me not to get it cause its a shitty phone.. and i told her i REALLY wanted it and she said i could get it if i wanted but she would suggest that i not get it because it would be a waste of money... so idk if u really want to get that one.. just thought id give u a heads up
6. unfortunately LG Chocolate cannot be activated with us cellular. But probably in the next couple of months they may get the LG Chocolate just call us cellular and ask them. But other than that u can't. Sorry
