Why does my LG cell phone turn off automatically every time I put it in my pocket?

I've already locked the key pad and it still turns off when it is in my pocket.

1. thats maybe bc of the battery. it happened the same with me and my palm centro, and i just calle the at&t warranty service and they sent me another battery and it works perfectly. :) sometimes they send you a new phone and you have to send yours back to them. but make sure ur phone its still under warranty, bc if not u would have to pay for the battery or whatever needs to be changed.

3. The same thing happened with my Chocolate 2 I was calling people, and the phone just randomnly shut off You should probably get a new phone. My chocolate's battery was good, cuz the red x's on the battery was not blurry, which meant that there was no water dmg. so try talking to your provider to see if they can help.
