airplane mode? standalone mode? airplane questions?

what is airplane and standalone mode on your phone will i be able to turn my phone on in flight? also will i be able to turn on my laptop? will i get internet? or cood i just play solitaire and stuff? also do the snacks cost money now? or do us till get that and a drinkf or free? or is it only water? for delta , if that matters and my cell phone is the lg En V by verizon and laptop is a dell also if u want to be able to fly alone will my 13 year old daughter be able to do that without and attendant? so she doesnt have to be the first one on and last off? can i just lie or will they know , becuz she doesnt have id so they wouldnt know . ive flown m son and they never needed his id or anything adn never checked his age so can i just lie and say shes 15?

1. 1) you are NOT allowed to use your mobile/cellular phone once the plane has left the gate because it can interfere with the navigation systems and would be extremely dangerous. 2) yes you can use your laptop AFTER the plane reaches its cruise altitude (about 15 minutes after take-off) 3) some (but not all) Delta planes have WiFi internet access, but it will cost between $9.95 for flights 2 hours or less and $12.95 for flights longer than 2 hrs. 4) Children 12 years and older may be booked as adults, but if your daughter's flight is canceled or delayed she will NOT be entitled to priority if she is not booked as an Unaccompanied Minor (at an extra charge) -Are you sure you want her to travel without supervision? Flight Attendants are very careful with Unaccompanied Minors and make sure that they looked after and safe during their flight. Otherwise your daughter is on her own and you will have to hope she is not seated next to a pervert, drunk or a weirdo.
