iPhone....?
I need help badly, I don't know which phone to get? iPhone or LG KS20 If I cancel my plan with Verizon to get an iPhone it would cost me $771.00 Early contract cancel= $175.00 iPhone(4GB)=$500.00 AT&T plan(cheapest one)=$60.00 AT&T iPhone activation=$36.00 all equals $771.00 not including tax. If I get the LG KS20 it will supposedly cost me $800.00. Tha is where I'm stuck. What should I do? I like the both of them. Espically the iPhones cool widescreen lanscape picture every time you turn it. Plus I just got a brand new LG Chocolate in May.

- The KS20 is not available yet. You could purchase a KE850, but there's nowhere to purchase a KS20. Debating the two at this point is ridiculous because you can only purchase one of them right now. IF the KS20 was available right now (which it isn't), it would be the better buy. More features for not much more money. Sucks about your Chocolate. A new model is being released in the next week or two.
- Whereas the IPhone is a verry cool product, I would wait to buy one for one simple reason: The IPhone is 2G, NOT 3G. This means that it's response time on internet based features is verrrryyy slow. The biggest complaint I have heard from customers who have purchased the IPhone is that it is slower than they expected. That aside, this is a cool phone. Early speculation is that in a year to a year and a half, a 3G version will be released as an upgrade to this year's IPhone Models. An advertising executive even told me he believed the IPhone in the commercials was a 3G model that is still in testing. That would be the one to get once released. Besides, the second version of a phone is always better because it has all the annoying bugs and quirks worked out of it. Stick with LG and Verizon a little bit longer, I believe you'll be happy with the decision when Apple and AT&T decide to upgrade the IPhone to 3G.
- The Iphone is the most over-hyped, overrated thing that happened to the history of hi-tech gadgets after the Apple company itself. Overpriced $600 or $500 depending on the size. Plus the monthly subscription from an inferior network AT&T of AT LEAST $59 per month with ONLY 450 minutes!!!!! If I were you, I would get the T-mobile hotspot @home. It is a cell phone that can also be used in wi-fi. You can call whenever, wherever if you have a wi-fi because it never eats your minutes.
