LG Wireless Phone

Will a iphone work with verizon? (read more info)?

My friend has a iphone from AT&T but he's getting a new phone soon. I have a LG chocolate from verizon and a 2 year contract. Can i get rid of my phone and swich the iphone to verizon? Or can he take out the sim card and i can use it as a ipod touch? if so what can i get on it. thanks

1. Just brake the the KG800 and then say it was an accident (thats what I did to my ds and then I got a DS Lite)!!!

3. No it will not work. The iPhone is a GSM device that requies a SIM card and Verizon uses CDMA which does not use SIM cards
4. iPhones will only work with AT&T.
5. Even if Verizon Wireless is going to take on the I Phone your current one would not work like someone said earlier vzw is cdma, so if they do come out with the I phone it will not be the same phone.
