How do you get your pictures off of your LG Shine cell phone...?

How do you get your pictures off of your LG Shine cell phone and put them on your computer? Would you use a USB cord like you would when you have a digital camera. Also how do you get songs from your computer and add them to your phone? It says it has a USB mass storage. What is that and what is it good for? Sorry for multiple questions. Im so confused.

1. You have a some options: -You can E-mail the pictures to yourself. Save the pictures on your computer through your E-mail account. -You can use a USB cord. You might need some software too. Then transfer the pictures to your computer.
