LG Vu? vs iPhone? PHONE HELP!?

So i currently have the old iPhone. Idealy i would like to switch to Verizon and get the enV2, but my contract isnt over for another year and a half. anyways. i loveish my iPhone, but it doesnt do everything i wish. (txting is difficult, it doesnt send or recieve picture msgs, etc.) so ive been reading up on the LG Vu from at&t, and its the same people who make the enV2. anyways, would it be a huge downgrade switching to the LG Vu? a total waste of money? is it a good phone? thanks!

1. with the iphone app store any thing is possible and i bet the problems you have(mms) etc... are getting fixed right now stick with your phone it will get better save your money lg vu is a downgrade not a upgrade
2. I have the lg vu and it's a well preforming phone just not on the same level as the iphone. It cannot have the same apps, but it is easy to text on once u get used to it and has the 3g speeds like the new iphone. I guess it just depends if you want a phone or a crazy computer thing. I don't really care cuz i'd rather have an ipod touch and vu than just an iphone. Plus the iphone doesn't have video hope i helped!
3. well if you find it difficult to type on the iphone, you're going to have a more difficult time on the vu. the touch screen is not nearly as user-friendly.
