verizon lg dare? or at&t iphone?

my dad wants an iphone but isn't it $60 a month on top of the $200 iphone? should he switch ver from verizon or stay with it and get an lg dare for $149 with 2 yr contract.? i think he'll need to switch his plan but still. and also, i want a phone now cuz of afterschool activities, i need t call him if he goes out somewhere so which is cheaper, going with at&t iphone and a second line or verizon dare with a second line? i want a nice phone but not like a great one but not a crappy one either..i'm only gonna be calling him from time to time, is it possible to jsut share the minutes between the 2 phones? and is lg dare a good phone compared to the iphone? he only need likes 350 minutes a month so..yeah he doesn't think tis really that worth it to pay $60 when he's not gonna use all the minutes and since its rollover, he'l just have tons and tons of minutes oh and my mom jsut said she might get a phone too ....so we need a family plan,

2. I have the Dare and I love it. It can play music and once you get the hang of the camra it is good. My cousin has the Iphone and he loves that but I really haven't tried it. I would go with what you can afford more. They are both good phones.

4. i have a lg dare and i had an iphone... i broke my iphone right after i got a dare because i didn't want the iphone anymore... ya there probably is a working iphone on the Florida Turnpike near orlando!! lg dare is better
5. AT&T does have roll over minutes but the Iphone is more expensive than just $60 a month. I pay at least $80 with just the plans not including all stuff they charge you for (taxes, fees...) Don't be surprised to actually pay $100 a month if you own an Iphone. On deciding which one you'd rather have.... Your dad would probably want the Iphone, the internet is great, he can add on applications, and it has GPS tracking as well. But for you I think the Dare would be better just because it has better texting abilities, picture messaging, easy tv access and recordining. I have the Iphone and I wish I would have just ended my contract and signed with Verizon instead. They have better phone options in my opinion.
6. I had AT&T and switched to Verizon, Now I have better Service in my area. I like the LG Dare it works good.
