Is it free to surf the internet with my wifi phone on my home wifi network?

I have a smartphone with wifi with T-mobile service. Can I surf the internet for free? Can I make downloads on the phone for free using my home wifi network?

1. It sure is. Its the same as using your computer with the wifi network, won't cost you a penny more than you're already paying for your current internet connection.
