What broadband ISPs can I use in Minneapolis, MN?

I want a wired connection -- no wireless or satellite. Currently I am using Qwest DSL -- 7Mbps download, 896kbps upload. I liked this option because it has better upload bandwidth than the cable company and I don't have to pay for a landline phone service to subscribe. The other option I have used in the past is Comcast (3Mbps download, 380kbps upload). The price for both of the above options is about the same. Do I have any other options?? One of my friends subscribes to Verizon FiOS for LESS than I pay per month and he gets 15 Mbps download/ 5 Mbps upload!!! I want that but Verizon fiber is not here yet :(
