  1. I have Verizon and I love it. My son has Sprint and likes it. I think the area where you live and what towers are available has a lot to do with company you go with...
  2. I've used both Cingular and Sprint, and depending on where I was, I got completely different service. I prefer Sprint because I've found them to be more reliable (whatever Cingular might say, I've had less dropped calls with Sprint) and I like the plans better. Because of the early nights and weekends, I never go over my minutes, and their unlimited texting is pretty cheap. Cingular was good as well (excellent customer service), I just found Sprint to be a better fit.
  3. Check out pc world, or consumer roports. They have reviews on wireless carriers and tell you who has the least amount of complaints, better coverage and such
  4. Verizon followed by AT&T.
  5. It really depends on where you live. I would check out where you will get the most coverage in the area that you live and the areas that you travel to. I love Cingular(AT&T), but that is bcause it meets my needs as far as coverage. Also, I never have had a problem with dropped calls and I have had them for 4 years now! We had Sprint before and the phones sucked and they tried to charge us for things that were included in our plan! They sucked to work with and we had to call several times and be on hold for hours to get the whole mess fixed!
  6. I love TracFone. You can change the frequencies to recieve better signal in rural areas, and I can bounce off of ANY cell tower. I've actually taken my phone cross country, and I only hit two dead spots. Not bad at all. I had Sprint, but they charge you too much for not enough. Sprint only gets decent signal in big cities. That and Prepaid is good, because you don't have a massive bill with unexplained charges and roaming fees, and all that Chinese.
  7. Verizon is tremendous. I've been using them for some time now. They have just about any plan imaginable. I like the large selection of ringtones. Below is an article I found that may be of interest. Best of luck.
