Verizon Wireless XV6800 or XV6900?

My phone company (Qwest) is combining with Verizon Wireless. They gave my family a choice to either stay with quest or go with verizon wireless, so we decided to switch to verizon when we called qwest because the phone i currently have (mogul by HTC) started acting funny and really slow. when we called so they could send me a new one or fix it, they said they do not carry the mogul anymore. But they said that if i switch to verizon they have an upgrade of my current phone which is the XV6800 and id get it for free or i could get the touch XV6900... does anybody know which phone is better for a teenager? the XV6800 419.99 and the touch XV6900 is 269.99 with a 2 year contract.
