Were Verizon Wireless phones on sale Thanksgiving Weekend?

I bought the LG Venus on Sunday, Nov. 30. On the verizon website it said 24.99 with mail-in rebate and 25% discount with qwest-to-verizon switch. It was a thanksgiving special that was ending that monday. They charged me more than $25. I have tried calling customer service many times and they seem to think that i can not prove that the website said it was 24.99. Can anyone tell me... Am I crazy or was the LG Venus $24.99 on Thanksgiving weekend??!!

1. They charged you more than $25 dollars because the $25 price was after rebate... meaning you could pay $75 for the phone at the time of sale, get a mail in rebate for $50 and that would bring the phone down to $25 after the rebate comes in the mail...
