My cell carrier is qwest, and my phone is broken. What are my options?
I have had my wireless phone since November 2007, and it is broken. It just totally died. I also purchaced it new. I didn't buy the warranty. Is it possible that if I went into the store and explained what happened they would give me a new one? If not what are my other options?

- USE YOUR UPGRADE =)
- Im a Qwest Escalations Supervisor... so take this from me. Qwest is currently no longer proactively selling or creating new stations for Qwest Wireless Services. We will be migrating out old customers to Verizon Wireless (We cut out of our contract with Sprint due to them signing on with Comcast, plus verizon's network is better). In regards to your cell phone, we no longer have any phones in stock other then the Sanyo S1 and the UT Starcom. You are not out of warranty if your phone was purchased in Nov 07, Qwest offers a 1 year warranty on all their phones. However, due to the fact that we no longer have any phones in stock other then the S1 and UT, you would only be able to get either of those as your replacement. Sorry love! But here in the next month or two you may be able to Switch to Verizon, or if you choose you can finish out your contract until Qwest ends their Sprint networking sometime in late February early March
